Sandra Gee was born in Southport of Polish/Russian descent and her love of food and cooking come from her Jewish heritage.

She ran a microwave cookery school from home for 20 years in conjunction with being a Manager with Tupperware.

For the past few years her varied career has taken her to journalism with her Check Out column in the Southport Visiter and Formby Times. She has also become involved as a freelance marketing consultant for various companies.
